How to change the type of clamps on the Box?

The Wibeee Box meter is configured by default to measure current using 60 A or 100 A clamps. If you are using 300 A clamps, you must rescale the system configuration to ensure a correct measurement and consistency in the data.

Changing the Box clamp type on Wibeee Nest

To make any changes to a meter's settings via Wibeee Nest, you must always use the mobile App and you must be connected to the same WiFi network as the meter.

  1. From the Spaces menu, select the Edit (pencil) icon over the device you want to modify.

  2. On the Edit device screen, click the Advanced settings button in the top right corner of the screen

3. On the Advanced settings screen, in the Select clamp type section, click the Change clamps button.

4. Select the type of clamps used by the meter from the options:

  • 60/100 A, models LTP10 and LTP16, 10/16 mm diameter

  • 300 A, model LTP24, 24 mm diameter

5. Wait for the platform to configure the changes, and exit by accessing the Consumption or Measurements screen to observe the changes.

It is not possible to combine 300 A clamps with 60 A/100 A clamps in the same meter. However, you may use 60 A or 100 A clamps interchangeably on a meter.
